- 4 slices bacon
Oven: Preheat oven to 350F/ 180C/ Gas Mark 4. Cover a baking sheet with raised edges with parchment paper. Slice all slices of bacon into 1 inch (2.5 cm) pieces. I prefer to do this with a pair of kitchen scissors to make it faster! Bake at 350F/180C/ Gas Mark 4 for 15-20 minutes. Let cool.
Microwave: Place bacon pieces on either a cut to fit parchment paper, or a specialized bacon cooking plate and cook in the microwave. This will depend on the type of voltage of microwave you have, but an approximate time is 3-5 minutes. Let cool.
Base recipe serves 2 at 2oz/ 56 g a piece.
