• 1 tomato, deseeded and diced
  • 1 cebolitas onion, diced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 jalapeño, minced
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) cilantro, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons (45 ml) lime juice
  • salt to taste


Rinse all produce, particularly the cilantro. Dry. Dice the onion and cebolitas, mince the garlic. Deseed and dice the jalapeño. Chop the cilantro. Juice the lime. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, and add salt to taste. The salsa can also be blended in a blender or processed in a food processor if you prefer a smoother consistency.
